Formed in 2016, Sammy's Satin Sounds is made up of seasoned professional jazz musicians. The band is dedicated to providing music for the vibrant swing dance community in Austin, as well as in other cities. A Benny Goodman Tribute band, the group plays arrangements of swing standards from the 30s and 40s in the style of Goodman's small ensembles. The band features the clarinet and vibraphone with soothing female vocals. Bring along your snacks and beverages and join us as we welcome Sammy's Satin Sounds back to Sun City! |
