Georgetown ISD's Aerospace Engineering program. Students
from East View and Georgetown High Schools take what they learn about aviation in the
classroom and apply it to hands-on, action-oriented projects by building a Van RV-12 airplane
from a 3,000-part kit. On completion, it is transported to the Georgetown Municipal Airport
where students spend time doing maintenance checks and aircraft inspections.
