You are invited to participate in upcoming Nature Club Plant Walks. Walks are designed to be between 1 to 2 miles and will last approximately 2 hours. These walks will be done at a slow to normal pace, with at least three stopping points. At these stops we will discuss various plants that can be found there. Interest is the only prerequisite. These walks are for both the nature lovers with little knowledge of our local native plants to those that are Texas experts. You will be guaranteed a pleasant walk and you will walk away with at least 3 facts you did not know or had forgotten. Normally these walks will occur on the first Monday and first Thursday of the month. They
will be conducted several times a month to allow all interested to
participate. Additional walks may be scheduled based on demand. This walk will be on the Rocky Hollow Trail. Meeting at 8:00 Am in the parking lot just
past the Pedernales street bridge. Driving
toward Silver Spur in North Point, the parking lot is a sharp left after
crossing over the bridge. Information about the walks, to include schedules, will be provided on the Nature Club Calendar or you can contact me at [email protected]. Look forward to seeing you on the trail. Pat Garren Native Plant SIG Chair: Pat Garren [email protected] --------------------------
