Journey with us and explore the heritage of Lee County and the tiny hamlet of Serbin just south of Giddings. Enjoy a guided tour of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, one of the "painted" churches of Texas, followed by a tour of the Wendish Historical Museum. Peruse the stories, customs, costumes and artifacts that make up the history of the Wends from eastern Germany. Finish your visit with a hot Wendish lunch of sausage, sauerkraut, noodles, beets, dill pickles, fresh bread, tea or coffee, and a fruit dessert. After lunch, we'll join a Lee County historian for a guided tour through Lee County history. Stops will include a photo op at the Lee County Courthouse, the Schubert-Fletcher House and First Presbyterian Church organized in 1876. A taste from the Texas Bourbon Trail along with tales of outlaws and gunslingers will wrap up our day. Ticket includes transportation, tours and lunch. Maximum tickets: 36
