Formed in January 2016, Hot Pickin 57s is a four-piece acoustic band out of Austin playing standards and originals in Bluegrass, Classic Country, Rockabilly, Western Swing and Gypsy Jazz. The group's influences include Bill Monroe, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, Johnny Rodriguez, Bob Wills, Johnny Cash and John Denver.
