Cameron Park Zoo is a 52-acre natural habitat zoo located in Waco along the Brazos River. Established in 1993, the Zoo has lush vegetation, waterfalls, a lake and a pond. 300 species and 1,700 animals inhabit Cameron Park ranging from Texas natives to African Savannah dwellers. Upon our arrival at the Zoo, our group will have a behind-the-scenes tour of the keeper areas at the Asian and African exhibits. We'll see the animals up close and personal, and learn more about their care and needs. We may even have an opportunity to feed some animals and touch the rhinos! Choose one of Cameron Park Zoo's two cafés for lunch on your own. Ticket includes transportation, entrance to the Zoo and behind-the-scenes tour. Maximum tickets: 38 Volunteer trip Leader – Ellen Mire |
