Explore a dream-like sculpted structure called The Grotto, complete with waterfalls, craggy faces and a street-level stairway leading into the jaws of a giant jaguar created by concrete artist Carlos Cortes. Take a trip around the world through five thousand years of art on a self-guided tour at the San Antonio Museum of Art. Browse the special exhibit, Men of Steel, Women of Wonder, for a look at the art world's response to Superman and Wonder Woman and finish with quiet reflection at St. Mary's Cathedral, one of the famous Painted Churches of Texas. The historic Pearl Brewery complex, a unique culinary and cultural destination, will be our stop for lunch on your own. Map and menu ideas provided.
