Our trip begins on a hilltop overlooking 20 miles of scenic hill country at the original County Line restaurant where Texas BBQ has a flavor all its own. Choose a sandwich with your ticket purchase: pulled pork, turkey breast, sliced beef brisket, or 3 brisket tacos. Sandwiches come with all the fixin's, pinto beans, potato salad, homemade vanilla ice cream, and soft drinks.

Following lunch we are off to Camp Mabry for a docent-guided tour of the Texas Military Forces Museum. A premier showcase of Texas military history and artifacts, the tour explores the history of the Lone Star State's militia from the Texas Revolution to present day Peace Keeping Deployments. Exhibits utilize uniforms, weapons, equipment, personal items, photographs, battle dioramas, and realistic full-scale environments to tell the story of our Texas military forces.

Note: Photo ID required for museum.

Ticket cost includes transportation, tour and lunch. Maximum tickets: 38
