THE SANDHILL CRANE MIGRATION

It is estimated that some 350,000 Sandhill Cranes migrate
annually from South Texas and Mexico, with a stop over on
the Platte River in Nebraska to rebuild their reserves before
continuing on their journey to Alaska and Siberia.
