Tonight’s symphony of about 70 gifted students, performing in the 700 seat Bates Hall, will be led by guest conductor Christopher Rountree, who debuted with the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center in 2017. The repertoire includes Aaron Copland’s Billy the Kid Suite. NOTE: The new UT policy allows only clear purses or gallon Ziploc bags. No purses allowed. There are steps to enter the theatre and a long walk to the elevator and stairs. Before the symphony, we will stop at the Arboretum for dinner on your own. Restaurant choices include Bistro Italian, Cheesecake Factory, Blue Baker and Zoe’s Kitchen plus shopping. Ticket cost includes transportation and symphony ticket.
