Dallas Blooms is the largest floral festival in the Southwest with over 500,000 blooms. A picture is worth a thousand words, and that describes the Arboretum in springtime. You will be on own your own to tour the DeGolyer Home built in 1940 and the gardens filled with cherry blossoms, daffodils, pansies, tulips and thousands of others. Lunch at 1:30 p.m. will be on the patio of the DeGolyer Home overlooking White Rock Lake. Salad trio will consist of fresh fruit, chicken salad and spinach salad with iced tea or coffee. Dessert is lemon cream shortcake. No other meal options available. NOTES: Walking will be on gravel and uneven surfaces with numerous steps.
