Journey through a timeline of Hillsboro history and explore a premier collection of artifacts at the Texas Heritage Museum at Hill College. Our tour will explore Texas and Texans during wartime from the Texas Revolution through the Vietnam Conflict and visit the Texas Medal of Honor Memorial. Take a glimpse into Hillsboro's ‘silk-stocking’ district, visit the courthouse square, and take a look behind the bars at the Cell Block Museum. Hear tales of the old West mixed with stories of famous jailbirds, and we will let the lure of the good ole days take us down memory lane to the Roadside America Museum, where it is the family road trip all over again. As we head home, a stop for refreshments and a final bit of trivia will set the stage for our next timeline adventure Waco – Athens on the Brazos. NOTE: This is a walking tour with three museums and multiple bus re-boardings. Lunch on your own follows Texas Heritage Museum tour.
