Best known as The Sunset Capital of Texas, the Oasis Restaurant on Lake Travis is our destination. With room for 2,500 people on multiple levels and open for thirty years, the Oasis has a sunset menu for everyone. If you choose, there are two other great restaurants for your dining pleasure: Enjoy Gumbos specializing in Cajun food or Oasis Texas Brewing Company, owned by the son of one of our own Sun Citians. The spectacular sunset, viewed by people from all over the world as well as locals and their out of town guests, happens at 6:45 p.m. over Lake Travis. All three restaurants have balcony seating overlooking not only the lake but gorgeous mansions along the cliffs; you may want to kick back and relax in one of the comfy chairs on the third floor Oasis’ Starlight Terrace as you dine and watch the sun go down.
