Gardeners, Wildseed fanatics, shoppers and history buffs will all find something of interest! First stop will be Wildseed Farms for a leisurely tour of their beautiful grounds. Visit the nursery; purchase award winning wildflower seeds to scatter or plant around your home or green space; check out the garden accessories, specialty foods and other items. After an hour or so we will head to downtown Fredericksburg for lunch on your own, shopping at the unique shops which include wine, specialty foods, classy clothing, arts, kitchenware, linens and more. If you are new to Sun City, this award winning small town is a must see! If shopping is not your cup of tea, tour the Nimitz and/or Pacific War Museum; or walk the town and see the historic buildings, the Markt Platz, Pilgrim Village; or stop in at St. Mary's Catholic Church, a beautiful German painted Church. On the way back to Sun City we will stop in Marble Falls for ‘Pie Happy Hour’ at the famous Blue Bonnet Café. NOTES: There will be plenty of storage on the bus for your purchases. *This is a Level 3 trip.
