Inspired by the painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, Stephen Sondheim has created an acclaimed musical! Sunday in the Park with George is a living painting, centering on the artist George Seurat who discovers unimaginable possibilities while creating an enduring work of art. Known for adjoining points of multi-colored paint that allow the viewer’s eye to blend the colors, Seurat connects the dots that make life so passionate, unexpected, heartbreaking, and ultimately delightful. Zach Theater's brilliant creative direction, amazing vocal performances and live onstage orchestra bring this story to life with balance, light, and harmony. A pre-theater lunch on your own stop will be The Rock Rose District of The Domain.
