Our first stop will be breakfast at Slovacek’s in West where pastries, breads, strudels and their famous assortment of Czech kolaches all made fresh in-store, await our morning arrival. Then we re-board the bus for the Cameron Park Zoo, Trip Advisors #1 thing to do in Waco.   Have you ever seen orangutans having tea and Rice Krispies for breakfast?  We will see that and more as we spend the morning at the zoo when the temperature will be the coolest of the day and when the animals all come out to be fed. Your imagination will run wild as we move through Gibbon Island and the Bald Eagle Habitat, see Galapagos tortoises and the 50,000 gallon salt water aquarium. The African Savanna and herpetarium and many more exhibits cover this 52-acre zoo, and we will have plenty of time to walk around on a self-guided stroll at your own pace.

Following the zoo, lunch will be on your own at Rudy’s Bar-B-Q where brisket, ribs and sides are served up cafeteria style. You might want to save a little room for our ride home as our last stop will be at Buc-ee’s, the one and only mega-sized convenience store that many Texans believe is the world’s best!

Ticket cost includes transportation and zoo admission.  Maximum tickets: 45
