Step into this living fairytale festival and lose your cares for a day.  Deep in the forest a mystical, magical gathering has begun with Robin Hood, his band of merry men, and creatures of the woods – faeries, elves, and goblins. Eat, drink, and be merry!  Springtime has returned with the Sherwood Forest Fair.

Come along to Nottingham Shire to encounter swashbuckling pirates, knights in shining armor, and damsels in distress along with tinkers, jesters, and beggars.  The forest stages will entertain with music, magic and storytelling while Tradesmen of the Shire will offer for the buying unique pieces of clothing, jewelry, weaponry, leather and wood crafts.  Food and drink stalls will beckon with tempting morsels of sweets, savory roasted meats, frothy ales and fruity wines.  For you sporting types, check out the full-contact jousting, hand-to-hand combat tournaments, archery, sword fighting, and falconry.

Ticket cost includes transportation and admission.
