HIDDEN RAVINE TRAIL SYSTEM GRAND OPENING, JANUARY 17, 9:00 a. m. Car parking available at Sun City Park, 141 Sun City Blvd. Golf cart parking available in designated area along Sun City Blvd. across from Sun City Park. Nature lovers are encouraged to mark their calendars for Wednesday, January 22 as the Sun City Texas Community Association and Pulte (in collaboration with the Sun City Hiking Club) will officially host the Grand Opening of the nature trails within the Hidden Ravine Natural Area. Following the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at
9:15 a. m., residents will have the opportunity to explore the trail system at their leisure, anytime between 9 a. m. and 3 p. m. Visitors may choose their preferred route (easy, moderate or difficult) by referring to color-coded trail maps. Hiking Club volunteers will be stationed along these routes to assist trail users. Trail snacks will be provided and sturdy footwear is recommended. Highlights of the secluded Hidden Ravine Natural Area include views of the rugged limestone ravine itself as well as woodlands, grassy meadows and stands of heritage hardwood trees. The 100-acre green space features a variety of plant and animal life. It is located across from Sun City Park and adjoins the new Queen Tract residential area. |
