Travel into the southern regions of the Texas Hill County.  Tales of history and blankets of wildflowers set the stage for an adventure in Boerne, a German Heritage site.  Home to the famous Hill Country Mile, Boerne contains more than 140 historic structures that have been lovingly restored and re-purposed as restaurants, bakeries, antique malls, boutiques and art galleries.  Sprinkled among the shops are an amazing selection of brew pubs, wine bars and sophisticated taverns, some set along Cibolo Creek.  Armed with a bit of local history, menus, maps and brochures from the Visitors Center, we will have 3 ½ hours to browse, sample, and taste the offerings of this town.

Saying auf wiedersehen (good-bye) to Boerne we will continue our drive through the Hill Country to Luckenbach.  Home to the armadillo, Willie, Waylan and the boys, we will pop a top again and take in a bit of good ol’ country pickin' under the live oaks.  Come along and take in another piece of what makes Texas a truly wonderful state of mind.

Ticket cost includes transportation, breakfast muffin and juice.
