Depart SCPL 9:30 a.m.; return 7 p.m. Tickets for this event go on sale on Friday, Dec. 1 @ 8 a.m. Take a scenic ride through the Hill Country to the charming German town of Fredericksburg. Our first stop will be on Main Street where you will find a multitude of wonderful shops begging for browsing along with restaurants featuring a world of culinary delights. Maps and menu suggestions will be provided. Following lunch it is a short ride to the Fredericksburg Theater, where a few kooky and spooky characters will take us on a venture into the devilishly delightful life of The Addams Family. This magnificently macabre new musical features an original story, a story of every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia, as they host a dinner that's bound to be wickedly delicious.
